Ingredients:
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup ketchup
1 tablespoon Worcestershire
1 1/2 lbs lean ground beef
1/2 cup milk
2 eggs
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 packet onion soup seasoning
1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
3/4 cup of bread crumbs
2 slices of bread
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350. Lightly grease a 5x9 inch loaf pan & place two slices of bread at the bottom (will soak up grease.) Mix brown sugar, ketchup & Worcestershire in bowl & set aside. In another mixing bowl, mix thoroughly all remaining ingredients. Shape into a loaf, and place on top of sliced bread. Poke a few holes in loaf, and pour half of ketchup mixture on top. Bake for 45 minutes. Pour remaining ketchup mixture on top and bake for additional 15 mintues.
